How is it unexpected when you know who the president is and you know how feckless Congress has become? It's only unexpected if you live under a rock or you've got the sense of Jim Cramer.

Feels like just two days ago I was seeing people at a Trump rally declaring that tax breaks for billionaires was a good thing because those people getting the breaks are creating new jobs and hiring more people because of the tax breaks. Weird.

If only there was some sort of historical record that shows the economy always eats shit under republicans, Trump makes everything worse, and giving infinite money to the top 1% does not actually result in prosperity trickling down.

'Unexpectedly' not Payrolls is much weaker, and the U.S. lost -23k jobs in March, well below expectations of +80k. Huge downward revisions, too: May now +63k (instead of +129k), June now +20k (down from +53k). Very bad news. Revise down your views substantially.

Unexpected? Just look at the convicted felon’s record, 6 bankruptcies, failed businesses, record unemployment during his 1st term and creating national debt. The only thing the fraudster is good at, is grifting, money laundering and lining his own pockets with money.
