This billionaire will be surprised when no one buys his products anymore, but he will be ok, sucking the tax trough dry, corporate welfare bum.

This is literally the digital age, more than half the work done in an office can be done remotely also, suggesting that only work and workers can be productive in an office is so backwards especially when we have better means in today's age.

Possibly. But the government employees are different. These organizations don't have any incentive to be efficient. They basically have their jobs for life. It is time for a massive change.

I am danish citzen In Denmark sciens show that it can take 25 min to regain focus. And every time you get interupted you make more mistakes. When you work from home you are more effecient. But I do not think this is about effencient, as it us about saving money. (Also a valid point to do sometimes)

Ok. But we are talking about the federal government here. Most of these workers don't have any incentive to be efficient or productive. Most of them are doing absolutely nothing at home.

Anyone who has spent more than 10 mins in upper management knows this approach never works. The people who leave first are always disproportionately the most qualified & motivated, who have outside options. You’re left with the very deadwood you claim to be trying to trim.

DOGE is total BS.Trump, Elon and Vivek care about money and power. Can’t cut 4 trillion taxes on top 1% without getting rid of vital programs like infrastructure, education, veterans health benefits, Medicaid. Trump’s picks like he is are deviants and criminals. Sad. 🇺🇸@nicollewallace.bsky.social

A return-to-office mandate is a misguided cash grab that will only bleed taxpayers dry. More employees in the office means higher utility bills, real estate costs, and maintenance. Plus, studies show remote work boosts productivity—this move is a net loss.

Just wait until Maga tries going to a federal office…calling a federal office…getting any service from a federal office….as the undocumented say…buena suerte…there will be backlash…just a matter of time…

In Denmark we try to save money to centralisere the Tax departement to save money. But as a tax payer, I think they ending up with mistakes that cost them alot of money to. So it is fine line to save money and not cut to deep. It can be hard to revers. Fired people with exp is not easy to regain

CNN...When did you sell out to the racists, misogynist, rapist, & Greed of your King Trump? Your souls & black hearts will be what "we the people" remember. You have lost the ability to sell your fake concern for Humanity. Your actions speak so much louder.

There has always been a significant portion of the population that have always wanted to 'run the country like a business'. They are about to get what they asked for. We're about to see the first act of a tragic comedy.

So those two jackholes are going to set the example right? Establish an office in DC and then 9 to 5 it from that office everyday? No working from Maga-a-Lardo, no working from California trying to resuscitate the blue bird, no working from Texas making an even uglier car? Right? Guys?

1/ Please keep in mind that the Department of Government Efficiency doesn't actually exist. At least not officially. It takes an act of Congress to create a department within the Executive Branch. The State Department, the Department of Justice, the Department of Education... y'know, those...

2/ guys, were created by acts of Congress. What they also don't seem to know is that Congress holds the purse strings, not some fake "Department" within the Executive branch. Congress is responsible for funding the government. I guess they totally missed all the insanity that goes on every...

3/ months when Congress has to approve a budget. IOW, Musk and Ramaswamy or nothing more than lobbyists. No different from the thousands of other lobbyists in DC who beg, plead and cajole members of Congress on a daily basis to prioritize funding for their particular... thing. end

These grifters want Federal Agencies to fail, so they can say “see, for-profit corporations do it better!” Despite the fact that many of Musk’s endeavors are total failures. Hyperloop anyone? And Trump is a serial bankrupt con artist: abusing women and business associates for decades.

SB country wide both for public and private. How many times have I waited for a pickup, heard a muffled voice, had to ask them to adjust their headset, then to turn up volume, etc? They sleep. A crime upon themselves. WAKE UP AMERICA.

Just to be clear, their attack on government is for them to make more money, not to further any fulfillment of higher ethics. Otherwise, it would not be worth their time.

Let the record show Elon Musk owns companies in Texas and California, is preparing to begin a new agency in DC and yet has been "working" remotely from inside of Donald Trump's rectum since this summer.

What is so frustrating is how the media legitimizes these things. Rather than reporting on the fact that this is not a government agency they amplify the garbage and fail to focus on the fact that that these rich f!$&s are trying to run government but are unelected and unaccountable. Report truth!

Businesses have had to cut back or close because office workers were their major patrons. People want to make this political and personal, but its really just economics. So, back to the office, work harder, and spend more of your tax-payer funded money. And no, you don't get a thank you.
