Turkey must be consumed 12 months a year, not only in 1 month at the end as it is by fat beneficial for your health than red meat like bull meat as red meat is harmful especially for elderly people or for people with some health problems like the ones relates with heart!

The story of Thanksgiving is a lie. In Nov. colonists stole food from the Wampanoag. When they came to get it back, the colonizers massacred them. Everyone should know since Native Americans have had to live w this truth all their lives. Colonists wrote the lie of T-giving to cover up the massacre.

Why is this funny to some? As humans, we have the ability to put ourselves in another's shoes. Can anyone honestly answer that they would like to be slaughtered? Because if you can, you are either a liar or crazy. Turkeys are sentient, and they feel fear. Scientifically, empirically evidenced.

The ability to experience emotions, feel fear, feel pain, but I am vegan, so I also don't think the ability to experience emotion or feel pain is a prerequisite for whether life matters. To me, every life is as important as another. I don't mind if anyone agrees with me. I'm not asking them to.

Gene is a superb human being - we are long time contributors to Farm Sanctuary. Bring your young kids to the sanctuary in Watkins Glen NY and watch how they interact with all the animals. It’s beautiful, and we are better off for having places like Farm Sanctuary and their resolute kindness.
