Nothing became him in life quite like losing the presidency. Carter had the best post-presidency in US history. But I suspect he shuddered at the thought of Trump presiding at his state funeral. Farewell, Jimmy.

Now Jimmy was a great man! I often wonder how a second term would’ve been for him, it is too bad we’ll never know. One thing is certain the US needs more presidents like him. He jumped into a nuclear reactor and worked to prevent a melt down. He told the truth, though it cost a presidency.
