Here's the keycap color changer we're building in my upcoming Prismic course. I kept the animation simpler for this one, but I think it's still pretty fun to play with. Made with Three.js and @gsap-greensock.bsky.social. 3d model by the wonderful @leifs.website

zomg can the keys randomly bounce out of position when it hits?

Maybe in the bonus content or something haha. I’m always worried I’m making a component too long and complex so I had to keep this one shorter. Original idea was it turns upside down and all the keys fall out, then turns back around and new keys fall into place.

I’d love to add physics and add your idea though. I feel like @ste.vg would have a super fun version of this using physics.

Like Gandalf, I also shout "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" when setting up walls in scenes.
