I’m embarrassed that I can’t think of more than one single film made before I was born that I’ve watched a few times! Everything I’ve watched the most has been from the late ‘70s onwards. The only one that comes to mind is It’s A Wonderful Life, which I enjoy a lot.

In fairness I'm spoilt by virtue of being probably just a few years younger. I had a lot to choose from, including Alien. The heyday of cinema was that late 70s / early 80s period, in my opinion! They're the films I keep returning to.

I love film, so I’m into all sorts from all the decades ‘70s onwards really :) But yes, if I were just a little younger I could have said Jaws or Alien, both real favourites :D

For me it's *probably* Goldfinger, but I'm not sure. My logic is that it's most likely a Bond movie, and the earliest memory I have of watching one of those is Goldfinger. OTOH it could also be The Great Escape, Bridge on the River Kwai, and many more. I watch too many films. And too often. 🤷‍♂️
