Either this Friday's #tupo is way less brutal than last week's, or players are getting much better. (Or both!) Solve times are up from yesterday (which is to be expected), but the pctg. of players with a perfect game didn't drop by nearly as much as last week. Last Friday: 10.9% Today: 29.2%

For those curious, here are all the week's perfect game percentages Monday: 54.1% Tuesday: 57.7% Wednesday: 34.6% Thursday: 43.4% Friday: 29.2% Wednesday's dip is interesting. It suggests to me that players had a hard time jumping from Easy to Medium, but learned from it and came ready for Thurs.

Solve times are much higher than yesterday, of course, but significantly lower than they were last week. To be in the top 5% of all solvers last week, you needed a <6:45 time; top 5% of perfect solves needed to be <5:53. This week, both are dramatically lower, at <4:19 and <3:44, respectively.

These numbers could change a bit, though, since the day's not over yet, but most of the world has already played, so I don't expect a major shift.
