hot gender take of the day: do away with the word husband and make wife gender nutral and apply to everyone. wife is a much better word, husband is so clunky and formal and has no good alternatives. everyone should get to be wife. thank you for your time.

also words are made up and you can use whatever you want. honestly i am yearning for a better neutral alternative for spouse that isn't spouce or one of the silly ones. wife is just a good word and i dream of a world where it doesnt come with a billion weird gender conotations

To each their own, wife gives me the squick something fierce, husband is preferred But I can 100% agree.... "Hubby" is just bad bad bad LOL
