im not really superstitious but i DO believe in karma, in the community sense at least Work in a tip based industry? tip extra when you go out sell art? buy art bring a friend soup when theyre sick. next time you're sick someone will have your back invest in the people around you it comes back

like, karma aside this is just a good way to live. idk, i havent made a shop sale in over a month and within 3 minutes of spending $20 in another artists shop, i randomly got a $20 sale notification ! its weird but it works

i cannot wrap my head around how i did the concept, sketch, color picking, and base render and base cleanup in less than 24 hours and yet i have somehow been doing "final touches" for the multiple hours the last 3 straight days make!!!! it!!!! make!!! sense!!!!

After like 2 straight days of trouble shooting, i managed to get my old copy of kidpix to run on my laptop! turns out kidpix is actually very hard to use because it's meant to be a game for kids and not an actual art program, BUT i want to practice a bit more and maybe open kidpix commissions

hot gender take of the day: do away with the word husband and make wife gender nutral and apply to everyone. wife is a much better word, husband is so clunky and formal and has no good alternatives. everyone should get to be wife. thank you for your time.

also words are made up and you can use whatever you want. honestly i am yearning for a better neutral alternative for spouse that isn't spouce or one of the silly ones. wife is just a good word and i dream of a world where it doesnt come with a billion weird gender conotations

put stuff on your convention tables that are 1 to 3 dollars draw and then print zines at home and sell em for cheap make postcards that you can get in bulk and then sell em for a dollar 500 postcards with your art on the front and a link to your aite on the back for $30 bucks at $1 per postcard
