Look, let’s put it this way - if you were going to plan a foreign intelligence operation, why would you put it in a place that would make it easy to trace back instead of, you know, anywhere else?

Again, none of its true. People are looking at graphs they don't understand and inventing stuff. Note the grifter language, "if confirmed" "its reported" No meta data! These graphs do not show russian propaganda bot disappearance, only normal internet information tool collapse.

I am very frustrated by the way that people dismiss everything they don’t like as a bot. It feels like a way to dismiss the idea that people with these beliefs exist and are closely held. Blaming foreign intelligence for it is just a way to wash your hands of the harder questions to answer.

Anyway, you should check what is actually being measured before you draw conclusions. It’s also worth noting that Cloudflare’s bot traffic for Russia shows… no change if you go look at it. Where is this data coming from?

Its worth pointing out that Cloud Fare bot data is not about hostile actors that we call bots but actual mechanical bots that all search engines use for indexing, web crawlers and API access. Its good that its down but it has nothing to do with propaganda as such

Okta yeah this appears to just be a chart of Yandex traffic overall, which makes sense given that, you know, they’re experiencing a bit of a catastrophic event right now
