Today, I had the privilege of visiting Tall Feathers’ The Lost Children exhibition and joining the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation gathering at The Confluence.

Truth and Reconciliation requires us to look honestly at some of the most painful chapters of our history. It goes beyond today, and it requires us to listen. To listen to the truths of survivors, honour their strength, and remember the children who never came home.

We have a responsibility to remember what happened, to learn from it, and to carry truth forward. Reconciliation is a process that we must all commit to and work towards—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come. Every Child Matters 🧡
