Reminder to the horror heads out there, Crystal Lake dropped today. I for one am excited to start that tonight.

Oh, you might be a good person to ask. I'm hosting a Halloween movie party this weekend and the request was for a spooky movie but one that's not too gory or too scary. Some examples I was given were Shaun of the Dead, Jennifer's Body, Tremors, and the Fright Night remake

I would say the top pick should be The Cabin In The Woods. It has a little blood but it walks the line.

This would have been perfect, but my spouse vetoed it based on the ending (she said, don't make me watch a film I'll love for the first 95% only for it to end on the 5% I don't)
