To avoid any confusion, let's add a tooltip showing the current value. An ugly one that bounces in all directions! css-tip.com/wiggly-range... Now, the range slider is perfect, no one can say otherwise!

Interesting. I should write about my hacky implementation as well. It may serves as another proof of concept since we can already approximate many fancy shaped slider in Chromium.

I should have opened this a couple years back, and jump-started the timeline, but figured it would get sorted out once the pseudo got standardized. Enhanced Range Input from Open UI and @utilitybend.com can't come soon enough!

(but at this point I've given up on submitting browser bugs; not getting paid for the wasted time & I'm sick and tired of ppl who get paid 100x more than I make tell me I should put even more work in to ensure they don't close it as non-reproducible when they don't bother to read to understand it)
