An election is a bus, not a marriage. You don't have to love the driver. You just need the bus to not drive off a cliff while the fascists cheer from the back seat.

If my party could stop throwing my friends *under* that bus while simultaneously scolding them for not being *on* that bus, that'd be GREAT.

Democrats lost against Trump TWICE, not because some leftists withheld their votes, but because millions of low engagement, not terminally online blue-collar regular people were promised 4 more years of an intolerable status quo & gaslit that "Everything Is Great, Actually!" They stayed home.

But it's much more cathartic to yell at people for the party's own failures than for them to look in a mirror and realize that they earned both of those losses themselves and spent 10 years scapegoating people who warned them what the outcome of party leadership's decisions would be in advance.

There is only one bus right now. Take it or have no ride ever That’s what’s being said here. It doesn’t mean we love that bus, it doesn’t mean we want it to be the only bus, it doesn’t mean we don’t want that bus to change- it just means that bus only changes with voting for that bus.
