Anwar Sadat (President of Egypt) won a Nobel Peace Prize. You know who didn’t.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

RFK in Michigan: "Mike Rogers was talking about the Muslim Brotherhood. That's something I can talk about…Islamism, which is the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, took over…That's why you don't see any Muslims, any Arab Muslims winning the Nobel."

These are bad people To their core Just bad

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

I don’t think we spend enough time on this what am I saying- Except for folks like Marisa and a very few others we spend no time on it. Our government is run by abusers and they continue to abuse.

Marisa Kabas@marisakabas.bsky.social

A serial rapist was elected twice as President, a fact we don't reckon with nearly enough. Now one of two major political parties has been molded in his image, run for and by violent sexual abusers who hate women.

lol You’re a tacky bitch with low end dictator taste and we all see it.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump is BIG MAD about Obama saying the White House now looks like Saddam opened a Cheesecake Factory: "He's not a smart guy. He's not smart at all ... for you to say it's a Cheesecake Factory, that just shows why you were a lousy president"

Ah yes Tin pot trump and his top tear tantrum

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Vance: "Remember in 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine and gas prices skyrocketed. They skyrocketed, by the way, far higher than they are today...They skyrocket every time some tin pot dictator decides to throw a tantrum."

It's remarkable to me that, even as France, Germany and Spain flirt with the temptation of far-right rule, voters with long-term experience of it in Poland, Hungary and now Serbia have gone to such great efforts to rid themselves of it.

Only if we vote

Jon Cooper@joncooper-us.bsky.social

🚨THE GOP’S SENATE MAJORITY IS IN SERIOUS DANGER. Nate Silver now gives Democrats roughly a 75% chance of taking the Senate. 🔵 NC: Cooper +10 🔵 GA: Ossoff +8 🔵 TX: Talarico +2 🔵 MI: El-Sayed +2 🔵 IA: Turek +2 🔵 AK: Peltola +1.6 Election Night could turn into a Senate wipeout for Republicans. #VOTE

It’s going to be really bad if El Sayed loses - because hate will still have a hold on America- and it won’t matter if the Dems win the house or even senate- we will still be a maga nation of hate and bigotry.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump is smearing Ilhan Omar in speeches all over the country now because he is an Islamophobic bigot and he thinks that’s a winning message for Republicans

To folks who follow me on Bluesky & appreciate the journalism I do. Can you please read the EPA story and post on social media platforms if you are so moved. This kind of work is important. But it only matters if people read it and engage with it. Here's the link. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/24/c...

nytimes.comHow Trump Gave the Worst Polluters a Free Pass (Gift Article)The president temporarily waived clean-air rules for industrial facilities that spew cancer-causing gases. Then his appointees worked to gut the regulations altogether.

Isn’t it weird this just disappeared Three kids were killed and a teacher and has anyone in the maga party even acknowledged it? Maybe I missed it. We just move on?

Kaylub Giamanco, a 36-year-old carpenter and father of two, was hailed as a hero when he gunned down an armed teenager on a shooting rampage at his children’s elementary school in Bend, Oregon. Three children and a teacher were killed. https://wapo.st/4smpIAp

They're throwing spaghetti at the wall. It doesn't mean it's not really dangerous - and whatever they try, we'll be prepared to counter - but folks should be clear that this is not some well-orchestrated highly competent plan unfurling.

Nicholas Grossman@nicholasgrossman.bsky.social

The reason we keep hearing about desperate schemes to boost Republican chances in the midterms—Announce we're buying Russian diesel! Sue to preemptively reject a Democratic victory in Alaska!—is because they don't have a secret plan that will overturn a midterm loss, not because they do.

We need to crush these people to restore a basic sense that moral behavior actually means anything at all. That is what is at stake here.

NEW: Vivek Ramaswamy says Amy Acton being a victim of childhood sexual abuse makes her “flawed” while defending his ad featuring her estranged mother. “In politics sometimes it's a tough sport.”

Wow

Q: Do you think it's right for the richest man in the world to have so much power over what goes on in a war because Russia and Ukraine? TRUMP: Well, I don't think he does. First of all, he's a very good person. He's not gonna do anything wrong. Elon will never do anything wrong.

So it’s fine that a private citizen has more power than the president- is that what you’re saying, sir?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: Have you told Elon Musk to stop messing around with Ukraine's Starlink connection? TRUMP: I have not spoken to him. I might have to, but I have not. I've heard it was fixed, but if it's not, I'll speak to him

This election is putting into sharp relief how the entire GOP strategy is about ensuring as many people as possible can’t vote. At its most basic level, democracy is about voting. Support the party that supports voting. That’s the table stakes of democracy.

My children and their friends They will crawl over glass to vote against him

Kyle Griffin@kylegriffin1.bsky.social

Nearly 2 in 3 U.S. adults younger than 30 who plan to vote in midterms say their main motivation is to oppose Trump and his policies, according to a new Harvard Youth Poll. 77% disapprove of Trump's handling of the economy — including about half of young Republicans.

Trump’s incoherence spreads a gossamer veil over the public declaration that the investigation will only proceed so long as he wishes it to.

Powerful words from @aoc.bsky.social. America does not belong to any one race, religion, or creed. It is big enough for all of us who believe in democracy and in our Constitution and in leaving a future that is better for our kids.

If this is accurate, Elon lied about not having control over Starshield, and he lied about the administration making the decision. More importantly, why is a private citizen even *able* to make decisions that could hinder US military operations?

He can say anything and it’s just another day in hell We aren’t a serious country to allow this to continue

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "We just extinguished a nuclear bomb from the worst country in the world, and our gas prices -- it's a small thing to pay -- our gas prices are lower than under Obama." (Iran never had a nuke and gas prices are not lower than they were 10 years ago)

My brain cannot process this level of corruption. She was being paid $50 million to engineer a pardon from Trump *while working at the Justice Department* as a "Special Government Employee." And it worked. He got the pardon, and she got the money. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/20/u...

He got it not long after his daughter gave Ms. Habba, a lawyer close to President Trump, an extraordinarily lucrative job.

who the fuck does this old loser think he is? We’re not his subjects. We don’t have to respect him. Reporters have the right to ask him questions without being abused. It’s ridiculous how he behaves in front of the camera - imagine how he is without it. I suggest you vote

Wait, this can't be true -- several very serious doomers on this site told me that House Democrats would never ever dream of doing this.

Mark Chadbourn@chadbourn.bsky.social

Democrats are preparing to investigate Musk if they win control of the House in November, Politico reports. Potential probes would focus on his DOGE leadership, federal job cuts, alleged data breaches, government contracts and Starlink’s role in Ukraine.

All of us need to remember that if any of these criminals made money through illegal stock trading, they cannot expect immunity from a Trump pardon. All stock trading is subject to the New York state law. State crimes are not pardonable by any president.

Please watch this and ask yourself if this man is ok? Look at the anger he’s displaying being asked a question

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

YIKES -- Trump loses his shit at a reporter for the third time during this Q&A -- "Wait wait -- Quiet. Quiet!!!! What's wrong with you? Are you a SICK person?"
