I'm usually much better at this game. In some years the Halloween decorations have been up or almost up by time I caved to the lure of the boiler. I'm disgusted with myself, I really am.

Every time I touch the boiler, my dead Da's ghost whispers in my ear to put on a bloody jumper cos he's not made of money, do you see? So I am very good at resisting! He haunts me everytime I turn on a light too, it's like the Middle Ages in my house!
