It's not just about the wins. Today I got rejected for a junior dev position, but it only fuels my motivation more. Goal to build my first SaaS app just got stronger. 💪

We're hearing that junior devs are 4X more productive using Cursor, Copilot, and the like. That could be shrinking supply of those jobs?? Definitely want to be expert on those tools.

Of course Russ. But for me as junior dev relying on AI tools won’t make me a better programmer. True growth comes from understanding the fundamentals, solving problems, and learning by doing - without shortcuts.
