That's actually the major advantage and draw of building with Bluesky/atproto over similar but proprietary protocols like X/Twitter.

Didn't know it before, but yes Bluesky/ATProto's decentralized nature aligns more with openness and user control, reducing the risk of sudden, proprietary shifts like we've seen with X/Twitter.
