Not sure if you're seeking to engage on your article. I largely agree what you're saying, don't be afraid to show someone the door. But the problem is that it's easy to label someone a racist and discard whatever they're doing/thinking without further discussion.

to be clear, no one is "labeling" DHH a racist; that's simply the term for someone who holds his set of beliefs, just as "atheist" is the term for someone who doesn't believe in religion

and sure, there's a stigma attached to it, but only because it's a sociopathic belief system with absolutely no scientific basis. if DHH wants to avoid the stigma he should just believe in something that's not terrible!

I agree, although I think you meant not believing in a deity. There are non-theistic religions that are compatible with atheism.

For example, your article mentions that DHH says Black people aren't native Brits but I don't see the word black in the article you're referring too, so you lost me there. I think in this day we should also stimulate "assume good intent" and honest pursuit of mutual understanding.

From my outsider's view this is an interpretation of what DHH said and also a bit of guilty-by-association. I agree you don't always have to (or shouldn't) be nice but this example doesn't resonate with me. If the case is so clear why rely on third-party interpretations?
