Not sure if you're seeking to engage on your article. I largely agree what you're saying, don't be afraid to show someone the door. But the problem is that it's easy to label someone a racist and discard whatever they're doing/thinking without further discussion.

For example, your article mentions that DHH says Black people aren't native Brits but I don't see the word black in the article you're referring too, so you lost me there. I think in this day we should also stimulate "assume good intent" and honest pursuit of mutual understanding.

From my outsider's view this is an interpretation of what DHH said and also a bit of guilty-by-association. I agree you don't always have to (or shouldn't) be nice but this example doesn't resonate with me. If the case is so clear why rely on third-party interpretations?

it was perfectly clear to me too, but Jake expressed it very well for people who might not understand the context

if you don't live in the UK, you might also miss the significance of his endorsement of straight racists and nazis (I'm not exaggerating or using these words for effect) in what he says about the Tommy Robinson march

that's why I linked to that article - it explains it very fairly and helpfully I recommend you read it I would be being much more nuanced if this weren't such a clear cut situation
