Marion Kozak’s work on the ‘80s National Childcare Campaign & then Daycare Trust deserves the widest possible acknowledgement & celebration. Fed into Labour’s late 90s National Childcare Strategy and the Sure Start. Cameron ‘s Coalition deliberately destroyed Sure Start: a deeply regressive move.

Plaid Cymru have been developing policy ideas around childcare. WEN Wales has an excellent report, arguing for childcare to be delivered in integrated centres, that aim to provide multiple services at a single site especially for families with young children. wenwales.org.uk/wp-content/u... 1/2
