This year and this year only, winning a European trophy will be seen by the press as more important than winning the Premier League (if Arsenal or Utd do the winning)

For Arsenal, it absolutely would be. We haven't got a CL, and we need to have that belief we can do it! For ManU... they need something to distract from being a lower table club with an idiot killing their club from the inside out.

For the individual clubs fair enough, like us in 2005, but every other year,(when City or Utd win it) the league is the thing.
