Trying to access state historical records is getting more difficult because, as an Indiana librarian wrote to me today, "our state IT team is battling theft-bot scraping which is slowing down the workings of the site for the public." My personal fix for this would be scrape the site myself.

Perhaps they can export a regular backup of the site, and share it via torrent?

that's the hope but, of course, they don't actually control the site it's a third party vendor so we wait
