Moving to 1935 Germany with Concentration camps and masked paramilitary thugs snatching ppl off the street was not anticipated. Nor did I think I would see a pogrom on US scientists. Or a measles outbreak. But 'Amazing', 'Shocking' and 'Horrifying' describe it, yes.
