No my life has steadily deteriorated. Lay-off in IT->loss of insurance->loss of income->unpaid bills->utility shut-offs->CPS showing up By the time CPS showed up we had already sold family heirlooms to pay the 1k bill, then the same utility charging another $700 2 weeks later.

I don't believe the 2.7 grocery rate increase tells the whole story. I'm a bargain predator, & I know how to stretch my money. The sales aren't as good, run for shorter periods, & stores are making it more difficult to earn rewards in loyalty programs. Private equity is also bleeding us dry
