"The Third Way" is the Dem party's Fifth Column. They're the perfect choice for people who identify as Democrats and hate Trump, but like oligarchs and their fascism.

Third Way tried so hard to skew its own poll, but as many people noted, a third of Americans saying they'd prefer to abolish ICE *and* all end internal immigration enforcement was a wild result! Well guess what happens if you don't add in that second bit (that no Dem pol is arguing for)?

I mean we desperately need to maintain a replacement level population and the only way to do that was already immigration. Opening the borders and begging people to come to our country although fewer people want to is starting to look advisable even. forumtogether.org/article/stil...

(Borders are already pretty well open to narcos and some even have underground light rail systems a wall would go right over, so I admit that’s not on my list of concerns here. That’s a separate problem to be solved with drug policy changes imo.)

Absolute madness. “Third Way,” a new way to manipulate voters? In college for registered nurse degrees, we had to determine the BESTcorrect answer & tests r still written that way, as in med care, there can be more than 1 possible treatment/scenario. This is the opposite… BOTH WRONG.

If I had been given this poll, I would have asked the pollster to repeat the question. Then I would have deduced that the poll was not neutral and gone for abolishing all internal immigration enforcement and told them to go to hell. It seems possible that not all of those 34% would really do it.

Yes, poll does not have an option for "Abolish ICE and replace with agency that has oversight and cannot just murder people in the streets and wear ski masks and no badge numbers" which is probably the majority Democratic voter view.

Overhaul ICE. Fine. Overhaul it by firing everyone, changing the name back to United States Immigration and Naturalization Service, and moving it back to the Department of Justice. Overhaul it that way.

Like the bogota traffic cops who all got fired and could reapply for their old jobs but the department was now run by literal clowns and theater kids so if you want to direct traffic again, buddy, get ready to learn the art of mime. That kind of overhaul.
