The 2022 Inflation Reduction Act increased IRS funding, since hiring more agents makes people (more) honest in tax returns. The GOP tax bill removed that funding. Dems should make this a campaign issue; working class folks should catch on to who represents them & who favors the Epstein Class.

The criminal regime hates law, traces, checks, balances, push back, resistance, science, education, care for eachother, respect for others, strong shoulders to carry some more, moral, moral authority, LOVE That is why the regime will end. DT will get te care he deserves in a facility called PRISON.

I’m poor af and they’ve been hounding me since 2018 for a tax bill I literally can’t pay and delayed acting on an OIC. We’re talking several $1000’s not $millions. I landed a new job last fall and they found out from my LinkedIn post, canceled the OIC, and demanded payment. I still couldn’t pay.

1/2 In 2018, H&R Block flubbed my return and after a few months I got a letter from the IRS that I owed $10.08. I kept forgetting to pay and after 6 mos they started garnishing a small monthly dividend I received. All because I hadn't paid $10.08.

2/2 For reasons I can't recall, they took more than what I owed, but it wasn't due to penalties. I spoke to someone at the IRS and he was dumbfounded - their policy was to begin garnishing at $50. It's still absurd to garnish wages for $50. It's become a mob-like enterprise under President 45/47.

It’s what happens when you don’t have enough auditors and the ones you do have are not accountants. The IRS can’t hire qualified agents because they can’t afford to pay them competitive salaries. If you cut their budget every year then you can’t expect to have qualified agents.
