Empty parking lot at a Minneapolis Target during a statewide strike with many businesses closed today. Target has remained open. With negative temperatures and a lot of outdoor protest today, the one product people may go in for is sold out at their stores - hand warmers.

Businesses have announced plans to be closed on Friday for a statewide strike in Minnesota, some say they’ll open to provide free food/restrooms for those participating. Organizers are calling for ICE to leave, accountability for the federal agents who have killed and abused Minnesota residents.

Target’s parking lots should look like this everyday when they continue to allow ICE to terrorize their employees and customers.

Most people not from here will say this is about the cold. Show them a picture of this parking lot tomorrow at the same time as today with below zero temps. It’ll be night and day. So extremely proud of what Minnesota is doing to stand up to ICE and what they are doing to our community

Never shop at target. I’ve been boycotting for six or eight months since they buckled to the fascists and ended their DEI programs. Plenty of other retailers to visit.

To be fair, Target parking lot should have been empty already before any of this ICE shit started.

Sold out today (yesterday, actually) at the Midway Menards. Hoping some were passed out in DT MPLS, yesterday.
