Ok hang is good?

The reason nobody can make anything as good as Sopranos is they don't realize it's 25% Rockford Files hangout show, thanks to Chase's years there.

Terrific piece! I loved that show

I'm not checking this, but my belief is that Rockford inspired Elvis Costello's "The beat him up until the teardrops start."

How can you write that many words about The Rockford Files and not mention Angel?

Had a HUGE crush on James Garner during his Rockford Files years, and my childhood dream job was PI because of him.

Correction: Rockfish Files

No idea what a hang is in terms of a TV show but the theme song is 🤌🤌

Absolutely

Enjoy! Fantastic show.

You and I have discussed this reboot abomination. I resist.

I was going to say rivaled by Columbo! Wow! Very nice.

The Rockford Files put a spotlight on evil corporate data centers before anyone else.

Hangs?

It still holds up amazingly well! James Garner was the epitome of charisma and portrayed a character that always tried to do the right thing!

"nobody drank water and everyone smoked" this was my exact impression of adults growing up as a kid born in '78

"Once he’s on a case, Rockford’s commitment to getting the job done while expending the least possible effort should be an inspiration to us all." Brilliant observation and warms the heart of most anyone middle-aged or older. I was a tween watching this show originally and still love it.
