I played through From Beyond, which is both a concept album for Portland-based musician BCVHS and also a space shoot 'em up in the style of Space Invaders. The music is good, the game is okay.

This sounds awesome, concept albums are my cocaine and I do love SHMUPs. This also reminds me of what we've lost. At one point, Devin Townsend was working on Ziltoid 3 as a concept album AND a video game. It fell through and Z2's cliffhanger remains unsolved a decade later.
