The world just keeps getting wilder and wilder. I get going digital. The only reason I trust it is because I trust Valve and Steam. They earned it. I do not trust console manufacturers to not shut down access at the first sign of it costing them a couple extra pennies to keep something up.

Bruh. 😐

Well I'm kind of glad I never went Playstation now. I know they have some great games, but ending physical media while also announcing the end of the PS3 store has got to suck for anybody on the platform. Please buy physical games! Make them rethink this plan. Physical media is superior to digital.

So sick of these companies right now man

I hope this bites them in the ass biblically

Yall better start to buy physical only now to show we don’t allow this

"Shifting trends in consumer preference" have me thinking I'm going to switch to PC rather than buy a PS6.

Coincidentally I'm never giving money to Sony again due to "shifting trends in consumer preference"

Go to hell, PlayStation.

And my consumer trends will not be buying a ps6

I stopped buying physical games when the x360 came out so I guess I’m not terribly impacted by this. My kids destroy physical media more often than companies take it down. But totally removing the option really sucks and it would have been neat to do patched on disc releases.

I believe the expression is, “Boo! Hisssss!”

Guess I won’t be buying PlayStation games anymore.
