Watch as Rep. Ayana Pressley honors the women who have died because they were denied essential abortion care. Abortion care is a human right. We must keep up the fight for body autonomy.

YES. Because abortion care goes along with recognizing women as fully human, fully citizens, with the same right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness as men. Same species, same rights.

As a septugenarian who fought for abortion as a human right only to watch it be stolen 50 years later, I mourn, once again, for 3 young girls in high school, before the pill, who took their own lives because the decision to either lose the embryo or lose an entire lifetime was much too heavy to bear

before Roe, I worked in an ED and we continually had women come in with botched abortions....some bleeding out, some rendered sterile, all infectious....after Roe, that stopped nearly completely...let's NOT go there again...it's a medical/surgical procedure, not a whim

Noone, least of all bean counters and politicians, should interfere with the informed decisions a person makes regarding their health care, in consultation with their chosen medical professionals.
