An ICE guard admitted to assaulting 9 women. He’s no outlier: there are 2,300+ abuse reports in detention. Yet the DOJ argued federal safety laws don’t apply to immigration jails. You pay for these jails. The DOJ is complicit in every abuse case. Where is the oversight?

Ahh yes. The old “in order to catch the rapists one must become a rapist” theory of law enforcement. Right up there with the “Broken Windows” approach.

There's no immunity for raping someone in a jail! Police are subject to the same laws other Americans are. In fact, because they are supposed to be upholding law and order and familiar with what is legal and not legal, if a police officer rapes anyone anywhere, they should be drawn and quartered.

When the Democrats get back in power we need to; ✔️arrest and ✔️send to an ICE detention center 1000 miles away ✔️anybody who has GOP after their name and ✔️then ask questions a year or two later. ✔️MAYBE.

All will be held accountable ICE AGENTS Quit now & confess publicly for leniency Or,stand trial later & serve the whole dime🪙 1st,they’ll freeze your passport, flag you driver’s license&cancel your credit cards 2nd,they’ll take all your money, possessions, cas, trucks&guns Then the handcuffs🚔👮

Where are the courts? This inhumane, abusive treatment against detainees does not happen in a functional democracy. Are we at the point at which we are not a functional democracy? If not, we’re getting close unless we exert all of our efforts to turn it all around.

Oh yes, we have passed the point of being a functional democracy. Consider the Justice that murderer Jonathan Ross has received for murdering Nicole Good. None. A functional democracy would never have allowed Trump free after he incited the insurrection.
