What will the courts do IF the executive branch refuses to obey their orders? No, no. It’s not a hypothetical anymore. What will the courts do WHEN the executive branch refuses to obey their orders?

From the article: “If forced to do so, individuals from court security officers and probation officers to local police and sheriffs have the training and experience to bring contemnors into court. And unlike the marshals, these individuals would be responsible to the court alone.”

Excellent point! And the question remains, what will the courts actually do when the executive refuses to obey their orders. If past behavior is any indication of future performance, the short answer could easily be nothing. Then what…? It’s a question that has to be asked.

Exec branch is already refusing to obey orders. The question now is will they be held in contempt and will Marshals be asked to enforce orders? And if they go rogue under Bondi, will the court deputize others under Rule 4.1? And if so what will be the response of the Exec office? If I understand.

Trump's wants to erase all progressive legislation since 1933 & re-establish a capitalist state with laissez faire government (only police and army) with Trump as de facto king governing by edict. SCOTUS won't stop him. Oppose him. Strong social democratic messaging. The next 2 elections are key.
