So if I contend the 1932 N.C. election had irregularities are they going "fix" that election now, too? Laws are never retro-active for a reason. If they want to enforce more rules, fine, do that in the next election, otherwise, they need to take those ballots out of every race, not just one.

Changing the rules after the fact. Nice try Republicans. There is no way they can get away with this. They’re giving 60,000 people 15 days to prove their votes were legitimate, 🙄 then what?

Back in 2014, Justices Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas, and Kennedy led a 5-4 majority in McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission. Because of this ruling corporations can give up to $5.9 million to political campaigns. (before this ruling it was limited to ~$123,000). McCutcheon owned coal mines.

...Democracy is our only way of having a voice. Those 5 justices shoved a sock in our mouths with the above ruling. McCutcheon and other wealthy dirtbags need to control the elections and the only control they have is a butt load of money. They certainly don't have a good moral argument.

...So, in order to plague us with election control, the rules needed to change on donations to politicians. Now all the wealthy dirtbag corporations have been doing a happy dance all the way into our white house, congress and supreme courts. Sometimes good moral judgement still wins. So they cheat.

Your great great grandaddies would be so very proud … dismissing those people , the others, back-into their rightful station in your society . In the North we simply call it -systemic ancestral entitled Racism .

No matter the outcome, this result needs to be appealed, There is no way a court can be allowed to change the ruled of an election AFTER the votes have been cast. CRaZy.

Yeah, this is how democracy ends. Change the rules after the votes have been cast. This needs to be confirmed by the Supreme Court - even if it doesn't change the election outcome.

This is a nonsensical ruling. There has NEVER been a basis for changing the rules AFTER an election, and the 15-day notice is arbitrary and capricious.
