BREAKING: Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) called a special session to redraw the state's congressional map ahead of the 2026 midterms. The move, which comes after SCOTUS' gutting of the Voting Rights Act, will likely throw the state's primaries and hand the GOP two more House seats.

With the sudden move in several states to gerrymander out Democrat districts prior to midterms — they’re obviously trying to wipe out “dominantly Democrat districts”. Are there ANY Republicans in Alabama who are against authoritarianism and willing to vote for Democrat candidates??

I hope every southern state flips blue, not purple, not green, but decisively blue. Because the lengths they are going to just to appease a small, narrow minded group in order to stay competitive deserve to blow up in their faces.

Republicans of caused such a freaking mess with their corrupted Supreme Court. Our countries in chaos always in chaos now things used to work in an orderly fashion. Now they’re insane. I guess they wanted it that way anything to cheat to win. These are not Americans. These are crooks.

And isn't it ironic.. don't ya think? A law to remedy racial discrimination deemed no longer "a thing". And wouldn't ya guess they, the racist whites go back to segregation, packing, cracking, away the votes of the minorites & dilute their power.

Nothing says you are a racist and white supremacist like calling for a special session to racially gerrymander to weaken the voting power of the non white population. Might as well just wear your white hat to the press conference. Maybe the Congress people will show up in their white robes.
