The Virginia Supreme Court is as if not more disrespectful than SCOTUS. I vote more disrespectful because THE PEOPLE HAD SPOKEN AND THEY BASICALLY SAID EF YOU AND WHAT YOU THINK

👌🏼 “The Supreme Court of Virginia ‘transgressed the ordinary bounds of judicial review such that it arrogated to itself the power vested in the state legislature to regulate federal elections,’” the applicants wrote. “Either violation is sufficient for this Court to reverse the decision below.”

SO lemme get this straight: VA is going to ask the Supreme Klan who just overturned the VRA (prompting an IMMEDATE rush by the bigot states to remove any Black representation) and who said insurrectionist Trump should be king, to now make voting more democratic and representative of the electorate?

Oh now they belatedly realize people are pissed and they came up with a plan to look like they are doing something about it when actually they’re risking nothing and doing nothing. As if SCOTUS would even pick up their petition.

I'm in VA and I voted YES and the VA Supreme said no and their votes counted more than the 3,000,000 of us who actually voted. Not surprised. This is how this stuff usually ends up. A far right conservative VA Supreme Court said nope. AFTER we voted YES.
