Alito, Thomas and Gorsuch think the 14th Amendment should be violated, rewritten or interrupted differently. The 14th is a short and very direct statement. How was this not a 9-0 decision? 6 of 9 SCOTUS are corrupt beyond repair. Thankfully, only 3 bent over for Trump this time.

The vote was only 5-4 on upholding birthright under the 14th amendment. Kavanaugh concurred on the result on a different reason: violation of federal statute (which can be changedby congress) but not the 14th amendment.

Does anyone need to ask who were the dissents.

I think you should point out that Kavanaugh said that it did *NOT* violate the 14th Amendment. The EO was contrary to law and the law supersedes EOs. THUS: four justices think that the 14th does not nail down birthright citizenship. Since that violates the plain wording, they ought to be removed.

Neither a president nor SCOTUS should have the power to change a constitution amendment. Only the voters should!

The Thomas dissent is mind-numbing drivel. Thousands of words written just to try to redefine plain language of the 14th amendment. Glad birthright was upheld. But these conservative justices just make shit up, write it down and hallucinate new laws. #birthright

The Supeme court no longer respects the constitution or “the people” it’s time to remove the 3 corrupt judges who are rewriting our laws.
