What part of voter suppression and election interference does the Supreme Court not see in their actions❗️

Your attempt at a faulty comparison is duly noted. You childishly ask bc they are both constitutional rights, so you think this is some big gotcha. Except I have one responsibility as a citizen - vote. I don’t have a responsibility to own a gun. Voting can bring progress or regression.

If students attend a public university, their id’s are provided by a govt bc public schools are considered govt agencies. So it’s a govt provided id. But that leaves private & HBCU’s out. But, this isn’t about election security or eliminating fraud - it’s flat out voter suppression.

Agree false assumptions on both side as not all college students are Dems and not all gun owners are gop. How about we just let ppl vote and stop suppressing them under the lie of election security and transparency.

In her dissent, Justice Jackson wrote: "Importantly, this so-called “Purcell principle” arose in a particular context, and this Court has yet to fully define its limits."

Jackson: "It seems to me that a case involving a court order like the one at issue here—which left the state election rule untouched—does not necessarily fall within the ambit of Purcell and its concern about federal courts “changing the election rules” at the last minute."

Jackson: "I respectfully dissent because—even, and perhaps especially, when an election is looming—I would not disturb a clearly justifiable federal-court order issued to ensure that the public receives accurate information about a State’s electoral processes." Full story: demdock.com/4z0b3gZ
