You’ll never convince they didn’t throw out most of their votes last time. Why would they vote for Thump after all Biden did for the First Nations? Never made sense.

Surprise, surprise. "Alaska lawmakers passed a bill this year that would have provided additional funds and resources to assist rural voters, but Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) vetoed it"

"There is no legal excuse for the failure to open these sites,” one state senator wrote to the Alaska elections chief. But there is a well-known illegal reason for the failure to open these sites. 🤨

A voting location listed as open means little if people arrive and the doors are closed. Will Alaska's Division of Elections publicly identify which locations remain unavailable, explain why, and provide a timeline for reopening? Public accountability starts with accurate information.

Come on everybody, let’s get these voting places open. Your vote is important, and the fact that they’re trying to stop it is reprehensible.

Nobody had to pass a law or win a lawsuit for this one. Just leave the doors locked in Native communities while early voting runs somewhere else. Suppression by shrug is still suppression, it just comes with plausible deniability built in.

Trump is an expert at cheating. He was the driving force behind the attack on the Capitol to challenge the results of the last presidential election, which shows his contempt for democracy.

Airdrop a load of enough absentee mail ballots and a ballot drop box at each location. Make it happen by 7am or get the dammit voting centers open by then. For extended hours if need be. Beecher should be investigated and prosecuted if malfeasance appears likely

I don't know why they didn't sue them in court... I think it might be due to timing. At least they're pushing hard to get the early vote this year... I hope that will be enough to flip the governor's mansion, as well as electing Dems and indies (left-leaning) up and down the ballot.

Don't just blame voters for low turnout, always remember that voter suppression shows up in many forms, including our country's failure to make voting mandatory.
