I hope it isn't as "turbolint" here as at twitter. Leftist #FreePalestine #M4A 🍉 No LLM content I'm the kind of Gender gray that hates thinking about gender, also terrible at using they/them pronouns, but I try for the rest of you.

I don't really talk about neurodivergency anymore, so I'm making this account more politics focused. Political stories can be stressful, if you didn't intentionally follow for that topic, so I won't feel bad if people need to unfollow for their mental health.

Astonishing: Maxwell was willing to tell Blanche about some of Trump's rapes, and he ordered her not to. "Let's not talk about inviduals." WTF were they there to talk about? There's EVIDENCE on this.

Amanda Marcotte@amandamarcotte.bsky.social

This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

I never want to hear anything else Hunter Biden has to say. He is enough of a criminal/slime ball that we don't need him to be in office. Like, he is fine we don't need to go after him for anything, but no, I don't want him to have any sort of political career. Stop trying to revitalize him.

Don't just blame voters for low turnout, always remember that voter suppression shows up in many forms, including our country's failure to make voting mandatory.

It's well-documented that the president maintained a years-long friendship with the world's most notorious child sex trafficker. It might strike you as odd there aren't direct allegations of Trump engaging in child sex trafficking.. except there are. There are SO MANY. They just never get reported!

I just think Matt's wrong about this. We're at a point in our technological development where a ton of problems spill over national borders--if Flavio Bolsonaro burns down the Amazon, that will flood houses in Miami.

Over 2,000 alumni from Vivek’s all-boys catholic high school in Cincinnati have signed and circulated a petition demanding that he pull the ad and issue a public apology for “ignoring the moral responsibilities” of his Jesuit education. I think he’s pretty cooked.

I live in a rural town and, like, I don't know how to tell you this, but the girls play on the boys team and vice versa all the time because otherwise we don't have enough players for a game and it's literally always fine so stop being weirdos about kids sports and just let trans kids play.

Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

I keep seeing posts from Republicans pretending to be insulted by Barack Obama's Cheesecake Factory quip because most Americans supposedly think it serves haute cuisine. First, it does not. And you know that. Second, his remark wasn't about the food. It was about the over-the-top golden decor.

Donald Trump has spent at least $45 BILLION on his Iran war. $30 billion could've extended ACA tax credits for a year and kept premiums from skyrocketing. $13 billion could've paid for Head Start for a year. AND we'd still have money left over.

If still debating whether Donald Trump or Elon Musk willfully crippled Ukraine's missile defense, helping to slay innocent civilians, you are a rube. If the U.S. President had no role, then an oligarch governs national security. If not, the U.S. President serves Russia. Both answers are mortifying.
