🚨BREAKING: In a blow to the DOJ, the 9th Circuit rejected its request to bypass a lower court to bar California from counting around 20k ballots from people it alleges are "likely" noncitizens. The ruling comes the night before the parties are scheduled to have a hearing before a lower court.

No need to go to the higher court when they have not even had the case heard set for tomorrow in lower court. This was a total waste of time. And the 9th did not seem to think the govt had a case

They aren't likely noncitizens. There was some paperwork at the DMV that asked a misleading question about citizenship it seems, and people who were confused may have checked a box by accident. NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE. GOT A DRIVER'S LICENSE WHICH IS NOT ILLEGAL TO HAVE EVEN IF NO GREEN CARD.

The guy standing at the microphone is bilal ali essayli. He goes by Bill Essayli. Bill is not his name, so he's a lying Deputy AG. His name is bilal ali. Why does bilal ali go by Bill?

Good result. No leapfrogging. And let me guess which judge voted in favor of the DOJ 🤬 Can the decision that comes out from lower court also consider the attempted leapfrog in their decision or would it be better it’s made on other merits/points?
