This brings up another important issue. So many universities and colleges have had their on-campus voting sites removed. This has been a Republican attack on voting rights since Abbott has been governor. The intent is obvious, but why does it remain legal?

A student may be trusted to study the Constitution, debate its meaning, and graduate with honors, yet somehow his university identification becomes suspicious the moment he wishes to exercise the rights it guarantees. Curious indeed.

Student IDs worked in Indiana for 21 years. Nobody found an emergency until one week before an election the GOP is nervous about. The timing is the whole confession. If the IDs were the problem, 2005 to now is a long time to wait to notice.
