1/5 This is something I said on a Discord server, but that I wanna put somewhere more visible. We've been subjected to barrages of bad news after bad news after bad news, and this isnt even something recent. We've been on a constant barrage of horrible news with barely anything positive since 2020.

Not blaming Biden for all this, but massive inflation and supply chain issues, Roe v Wade overturned, Taliban took over Afghanistan, China cracking down on Hong Kong, Russia invaded Ukraine, AI shit started, genocide in Gaza, and Trump returns because we took too long to prosecute his crimes

Not to mention California being constantly on fire, increasing droughts, the rise of far right parties globally, Elon Musk buys Twitter and turns it into a propaganda platform, and all the other shit that I've successfully managed to forget

Again, this isn't to blame Biden for most of this (although him not stepping aside until the last minute despite very real issues with his age, and his weak handling of Trump's crimes are a big part of the reason we got a second Trump term), but... The Biden era was way less bad, but it wasn't good

Pardon all demanded they “speak truth” and create a whole political timeline to conform with their beliefs. And you’re using it as a litmus test. This thread isn’t about Biden. Obviously not up to speed on the way his crimes were handled. This is nothing to do with the President. His DOJ investigated up to the point where the majority Republican (thanks to the American voters who gave them power) were about to pull the plug. Biden's DOJ AG then put

a Special Counsel in place so Congress could not stop the investigations. Trump's lackey in Florida then delayed long enough so his other corrupt judges on the Supreme Court could give him immunity from prosecution. If you do not understand this then you are being deliberately misleading.

Inflation came down under Biden... Biden also invigorated new trade deals. Taliban took over Afghanistan due to Trump's "deal". China cracked down on Hong Kong in Trump's first term. Genocide in Gaza happened to get Trump elected. Trump judges stalled his prosecution. R V W was Trump's era.

Really? Every bit of bad news is Trump's fault? It's Trump's fault that the Biden administration was complicit in the genocide in Gaza? And yes, Trump has been even more complicit in the genocide, but it started under Biden and Biden wasn't doing shit about it.
