A core principle of America’s founding is that our rights do not depend on belief in God. The Constitution begins “We the People,” not “We the Christians,” and its only references to religion prohibit religious tests and government establishments of religion.

Several of the founding fathers were deists, if not atheists. The USA was partly formed as a reaction to all the religious strife in Europe at the time. The establishment clause was included in 1A mainly to protect religious groups from each other (see Danbury CT). Mike is an idiot.
