People who want exceptions are saying their opposition to abortion is not about the life of the fetus, or that a fetus is a full human. They want to punish women for being sluts. It isn't more reasonable or rational to have exceptions because then we are measuring which women deserve mercy and

which are ok to condemn to the physical torture of pregnancy and birth as well as raising an unwanted child and the poverty which can come with. When we point out their bill is without exceptions you play to the idea that is a compromise. It isn't. It is just a different flavor of sexism.

Jesus people the DFL Party is Pro Choice settle down...they worded it that way to show how hardcore she is on the subject.

Then why mention exceptions at all? Choice is non-negotiable.

Because it is likely that in an effort to have any shot at winning she will pretend to moderate. The DFL is pointing out she doesn't even accept them. The DFL is not negotiating and never really has. They control statewide politics and our abortion rights laws are in the constitution.
