posthuman also makes eclipse phase, a hyper-transhumanist rpg that is extremely queer coded, and coincidentally is one of the only scifi rpgs to ever write a section on encryption that didn't make me want to throw the book across the room.

the remarkable thing to me about eclipse phase it's that it's unabashedly pro-bodily autonomy and maintains and undercurrent of hope that's missing in a lot of its brethren. so much cyberpunk/future stuff posits that in exchange for technology, fundamentally we lose and the fascists win. ...

... imo, eclipse phase posits that we haven't lost yet, that we can still make the future we want to see, that even admits all the horrors ™️ there's still weird art and queer joy and the potential for a better world, and that's extremely refreshing to me.
