Genuinely bemused by this question. Forgetting the million and one other things you could do with your life: I know I will NEVER manage to see all the TV and films I want before I die. How is it possible to have watched everything you’re interested in?!

Quite apart from WATCHING THINGS YOU REALLY LIKE AGAIN and even AGAIN. Speaking of which, I need to get a Blu Ray of The Good Place, as I saw a flash saying it was dropping off Netflix.

Those apps probably have a handful of things that they promo on the front nav, and if you're a heavy user, it can feel like you've watched the lot, coz that interface is their primary way of finding shows and not, like me the weirdo, following odd rabbit holes on Wikipedia etc.
