I went out and watched the Highway Patrol building get demolished in person this morning. That was really cool It was incredibly eerie when they shut down the interstate. You can hear the interstate for miles in either direction so for it to suddenly go quiet. Exceptionally strange sounding. Silent

There was no count down but it was very close to being on time. You could feel the explosions in your chest from all the way across the interstate where we were. Within 5 seconds there was nothing left but billowing dust. Not sure I have ever left an event so fast, less than a minute after, gone
