They just don't understand that a huge portion of the digital games and dlc people buy are being bought by people who want to have the option to sometimes buy physical. They think anybody who buys those games will be just fine buying everything digital. That's far from true.

Love me some Physical! I actually purchased RE9 twice, once on PS5, and once on Switch 2 via the Generation collection. That also means I’ve purchased 7 and 9 twice as well, lol

Don't think it can. The only way you'd be able to count that is if Sony measured each console and checked how many consoles have ever had the game installed on disc vs digital. That would be the only way to measure used game installs alongside new.

I'm surprised it's so even in Australia considering digital AAA games are like $20 more expensive than physical
